Best Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

500g Turkey mince (or chicken mince)

1 slice fresh bread made into crumbs

2 spring onions, chopped

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp lemon or lime juice

Method

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Make into even sized patties.

For best results, flatten to approx 1 cm and put a dimple in the centre. Freeze for 30 minutes before cooking.

To cook, heat a griddle pan. add oil and place burgers on pan. Don’t overload griddle pan. Turn burgers once when the meat has turned white to half way up the side.

Serve with a salad.

If inside the window, make it into a delicious burger in a bun with lettuce, carrot, tomato, cucumber and avocado.
